Kids ‘N’ Kops Mini Police Academy

The Miramichi Police Force and Miramichi Big Brothers Big Sisters hosted Kids ‘N’ Kops Mini Police Academy July 14^th to18^th.   Kids ‘N’ Kops is a weeklong “academy” for boys and girls chosen specifically for this event.  The children get involved in events, games and activities that are directly elated to the field of police work. 

This year’s Kids ‘N’ Kops included a K9 demonstration, Police car ride along and tours of the jail, courthouse and fire hall, a mock crime scene and investigation and many more great events arranged by MPF’s Sergeant Robert Bruce.

Kids ‘N’ Kops is a partnership between the Miramichi Police Force and Miramichi Big Brothers Big Sisters and includes involvement from 911 Emergency Response, local Ambulance and Fire Department and the New Brunswick Youth Center.
