Miramichi Airport welcomes Help Desk Now (HDN)
Miramichi Airport is pleased to welcome Help Desk Now (HDN) to Miramichi.
The construction of a Call Centre that could become a 500+ seat center
has begun on airport property. The property was sold to J&J Rentals in June.
Richard Jardine, Airport Manager says, "The addition of a first class
office space along General Manson Way and the activity created by a large number of employees is an excellent development
for airport property. The monies generated by this sale will be used for capital repairs to continue a safe operation. Currently
the airport supports 36 FTE positions that add $3.2 million in direct economic output for the region."
Sterling Stewart of J&J Rentals says, "The Call Centre, consisting
of 21850sqft of High End Office space, training and meeting rooms, with a large open area will accommodate the work stations
of a State-of-the art call centre. The construction of this facility will be finished within 12-14 weeks and will provide
much needed jobs on the Miramichi."
