Pam (Losier) Richard to Receive 50-Year CWL Pin

Pam (Losier) Richard has been a member of the Catholic Women's League since 1953. She joined in Truro, Nova Scotia, but hails from the Miramichi. She returned to Chatham in 1954 to St. Michael’s.

Pam has filled many positions including Telephone Convener, Treasurer, Secretary, President and Past President. She was awarded the Maple Leaf Service Pin for her outstanding years of Service to the League.

Pam always has a smile on her face and is always ready to tackle a challenge.

The presentation of her 50-year CWL pin will take place at 5 pm on the 11th of September at Branch #3 Royal Canadian Legion in Chatham. Our Diocesan CWL President, Marion Fogan, will attend the festivities. A Hot Roast Beef Dinner with Strawberry Shortcake (to tickle the pallet) will be served.

Throughout the years Pam has been involved in Red Cross Fundraising. She was treasurer of the Miramichi Historical Society and Treasurer of the Miramichi Natural History Association. She served as Secretary of St. Michael's Museum Association and is a member of The Ladies Auxiliary at Mount St. Joseph.

Pam is a member in good standing of the Santa Maria's. She was also director of the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Pam just likes people and people are drawn to Pam. She is rich in friendships.

Pam says as long as there are causes or people who need her time and energy she will be happy to continue with her work for her Parish and Community.
