Square Foot Hangar for the Airport
Miramichi Airport Commission
is pleased to announce an agreement made with Jonathan Stewart of Elite Airways to lease a parcel of land at the Miramichi
Airport.
Mr. Stewart is building a 4875
square foot hangar in support of Elite Airways.

Airport Commission is pleased with the agreement.
"This agreement supports the
continued operation of the Airport. It follows from our Business Plan to encourage the growth of General Aviation within our
existing client base."
There are 29 aircraft based at Miramichi. Currently the Airport employs 36 with a direct economic output of $3.2 million.
Jonathan Stewart says, "I am
very excited about the construction of the new hangar. It will serve as home base for Elite Airways and will accommodate 4
to 5 aircraft including Elite Airways new aircraft."
Elite Airways is a new charter
business in its start-up phase. When it is launched it will provide air service for the City of Miramichi and region, focusing
on the business traveler.
