The first thing you notice about LeGresley Building Supplies is the down-to-earth,
friendly and helpful service.
The staff really seem happy — and not a pretend kind of happy because
it’s in their job description, but genuinely happy.

Speaking with everyone at LeGresley’s literally brightens your day.
Their good spirits are contagious.
"It’s all in your personality," smiles Marc LeGresley.
"We’re everyday people."
And he’s not kidding.

I spoke with Marc near closing time on a Friday afternoon when most people
are anxious to get home and no longer taking calls.
Workers popped their heads in to say goodnight but he wasn’t in any
rush to hurry off. He leaned back in his chair, smiled and gave me his full undivided attention.

Marc is the third generation of his family to manage LeGresley Building
Supplies on Water Street in Chatham.
His grandfather started the business back in 1972. LeGresley Building Supplies
has been family owned and operated for over 30 years.

Marc says the keys to staying in business so long are not only customer
satisfaction and reasonable prices, but also sound knowledge and experience in the industry.
He says the staff at LeGresley’s are real ‘do-it-yourself’
type people who have both the knowledge and the experience to help you with any building questions you might have about your
building projects.
If you know where you want to go but aren’t sure how to get there,
drop by LeGresley’s and let them give you some advice.

With 8,500 square feet of storage and showroom, LeGresley’s carries
all the building supplies you need including electrical, paints, plumbing, power tools, building plans, lumber and much more.
And they also deliver!
But Marc says there’s still a lot of room for growth yet in the family
business and he looks forward to a long and bright future.
